Every storm is a school. Every trial is a teacher. Every experience is an education. Every difficulty is for your development.

Pain is real; it is difficult; it is guaranteed in this life. So, what do you do when everything seems to fall apart?

When challenging times come crashing down, many of us tend to depend on the people around us for saving, forgetting that sometimes those exact same people need saving too; they’re just as broken, helpless and confused in their own way. But in times of darkness, all you can do is have faith because despite how much people love you, no one can truly fix your heart, purify your soul, erase your pain and give you the peace of mind you need except for God.

Know that you are never alone because God is always with you, and He is glorious even when your circumstances are not. He promises that He will never leave or forsake you; not just in times of peace, but in times of heartache and sorrow, when all you want to do is give up and walk another path.

Despite the temporary suffering you may be currently enduring, rest in the fact that God has a plan and a way to work through your pain. No one, not even you, can truly understand what you’re going through as well as He can. So, no matter how immense you think your burdens and worries are, know that God understands the words you can’t speak, the thoughts controlling your mind, the feelings that are killing you and the extent of your pain.

When it feels like you’re drowning in despair and helplessness, take a step of faith and seek your true Savior; the one who can save a nation and the one with all the answers. Give God your heart, so He can shower you with His unconditional love and devotion.

What do you think?
I’ve found the beauty that lies in the midst of pain is the beauty that is God’s never-failing, never-ending love and devotion. I’ve found peace in pain as I look to the only one who can truly save me…I look to God. Are you currently going through a hard time? 1. Paige, this is such a beautiful post in a tragic week. Despite this craziness, God is still on the throne. He is not wringing His hands saying, “What should we do?” No, we only need to keep our eyes, our hearts turned toward Him. Only then will we experience complete peace.
